~ Creative Bookmarks ~

This is an easy craft, and I think would make a wonderful gift!

Items Needed:

• Card-stock paper - 6" x 2"
  
• A hole punch (you usually use the single circle punches, but using the decorative ones that you find at craft stores would work too!)
• Ribbon - 8" long (the thin kind works best)
• A rubber stamp (you can find these at craft stores)
  
• An ink pad (these can also be found at most craft stores in all sorts of colors)
• A pen
• And a clean area to work :)

Instructions:

First, punch a hole at the top of the card-stock. This is where you will be putting the ribbon.









Next, press your stamp onto the ink pad and place it in the middle of the bookmark. Be sure not to move it around after you have placed it, because that will cause it to smear. Allow it to dry.








Fold your ribbon in half. Take the folded half and pull it halfway through the hole in the paper.Then, take the other half and pull through the folded loop tightly on the top (but not so tight that you rip it. Trim to the desired length.








Now take your pen and write your name on the back, and if it is going to be a gift, who it is to. Also, you might want to write a little note, Bible verse, or what ever else you like.

Your done! Wasn't that easy?
You now have a beautiful bookmark that you made, and I hope you enjoy it!!
